The Airport

 

 

On Monday my dad, brother, and I went to a municipal airport (for small airplanes) and went flying on a four person plane. I brought Julie along and took some pictures. We had an AWESOME time! I think Julie did too.

Sew Fancy Doll Clothes

The first outfit. It comes with the muff, hat, cloak, and gaiters (to go on boots).

                                                           The next outfit. This one includes the two-piece dress. Two buttons
                                                         in the front connect the shirt and skirt.

                                                          Next one. This outfit includes the dress. At the sleeves there are

                                                  snaps that add some volume to the sleeve.

The second outfit includes the cloak and gaiters. The gaiters

 look the same as the tan ones except for the blue color and black buttons(which is adorable).

This is the last outfit with the nightgown. It is hard to tell but it has lace next to the hot pink ribbon.Also hard to tell but it is a bright white. Ready for bed!

On Friday I decided to do a photo shoot for Doll Diaries July Photo contest. I decided on cheerleaders. So I made some pom-poms out of yarn and experimented with different poses.  Mia and Nicki's legs anre VERY loose so it was a bit of a challenge to get them to pose properly but it worked.

McKenna Shoots for the Stars

I just got finished watching "Mckenna Shoots for the Stars" on NBC and decided to tell my opinion on it:).

  It was a pretty good movie but I probably would not have bought it on DVD. I think that the whole gymnastics theme is pretty generic since a whole lot of people seem to do gymnastics. I pretty much like the characters' (especially Josie) but at one point Toulane and Mckenna seem kind of whiny and not understanding. At that point of the movie they might have wanted their character that way but it seems like they overreacted. I do like the overall theme of the movie but it seems like the directors could have included Sierra in to be more of a "friend". Just to let everyone know it is BASED on the books but not really like them (example in the book Sierra has red hair, in the movie her hair was dark brown or black).
     Anyway that was just my opinion but don't be afraid to look at theclips or buy the movie.

Downy Spritz

Hey everyone! Recently I did the downy spritz to one of my dolls with straight hair and took pictures of the results! Fabric softener really works well to soften and get tangles out AG's hair. I am definetely going to do spray it on my other dolls in the future.

Now that you've seen the results comment if you're going to go to Walmart and buy yourself some Downy or laundry softener( I used the off brand). OK I'm kidding but comment if sometime in the future you would like to get some laundry softener and do your dolls' hair.
 Have y'all seen the new AG releases? I love the VW bug set for Julie but no way no how am I going to pay $350 for the car and a couple of little accesories! I do know that I am going to get the Weekend fun outfit and a couple of the other outfits.

A Surprise!

Here is the photo story with the Doll Diaries tee and Nicki. Since Nicki was in the picture that won I figured that Nicki should be in the photo story:).

"Oh wow! Look at this shirt! And the stickers and the Doll Diaries card! All I did to get it is pose." Right haha!

"These stickers are tooo cute! They make Molly and Emily look adorable! I wonder if I can get on some of these stickers?"

"I think I'll put this shirt over my other shirt because it looks awesome!"

DD giveaway

Just to let everybody know over at Doll Diaries they are having a giveaway for Disney's Princess Diaries DVD set. It is actually a combo set with both movies in it. I remember watching those when I was younger. Anyway right now I'm in Charleston, SC so I won't be able to do a picture post or anything but I will when I get to my house. I got my DD shirt and when I get home I'll get the pics of it up!
